Peter Sellers is a genius. Of course, that is nothing new. That The Pink Panther series works only with him is nothing new. The gags are predictable. But.. in anticipation of the silliness, even with the sound off, it is movie making in its most basic form. A parrot in the industrial sweeper. Sellers caught in the sauna bath of a beautiful woman who undresses .. Buster Keaton would be proud.
Lots of work to do today and her I sit with the Pink Panther and Sellers and the works patiently waiting on the deck.
