Shinique Smith's amazing stuffed stuff

The big big installations are spectacular.  I was not allowed to photograph a piece by Colorado Springs artist Senga Nengudi whose installation featured pantyhose stretched and filled with sand as well as powerful magnets.  http://sengasenga.com/about.html

Her work reminds me of Ed Kienholtz's brilliant stuff.  This particular piece drew me back more than one time. 

For anyone who truly appreciates contemporary art, this show is a must.  Closes very soon!  Parking is not much fun.  But, the scene is active and worth the effort.
