Up too early yesterday w/ no time to write.
Today is the opening of the Open Call at the LAMAG and a nice retirement party for Scott Canty, the director of the gallery for many years. There will be a lot of people there, so I've got to get going.
Yesterday was a terrific time was had learning more about petanque and playing four games .. some of them going on for a long time! It's a simple game with a million strategies. The Belgian Triplett was sponsored by the Belgian Petanque Group out in the valley.
My friend, David Reger, was SIXTH RUNNER UP! A groovy medal and a bottle of wine was the prize.
