Morgan Freeman's voice is undeniable. That it's taken me a while to have his actual name bubble into consciousness is problematic. Not I have to work on Oscar Wilde. Memory!
The marine layer will rise and the day will warm and a quick look at the California population and voter turn out shows about 25% of California voters took to the polls yesterday. So much for the exercise of a franchise that has a big impact on our lives.
My art project is moving forward and this is a pre- invitation to mark your calendar for the month of August when, if all goes according to plan and the creek don't rise, I'll trundle this sucker down to Barnsdall Park and set it up. Well.. maybe trundling one day and setting up another. It's growing and the deck is full of 'stuff'.. Suggestions for sound makers in this thing include one of those 'moo boxes' and a dozen other ideas. I spent an hour yesterday making what is, essentially, a psaltery. My wood working skills are marginal. Each of the sixteen cubes in this sculpture will have some sort of sound making device inside. Each cube is in progress and will feature six sides with different images on each side: 96 individual faces.
