Steve Julian's wife, Felicia Friesema, has announced a date and time for the memorial for Steve: Saturday May 28, 2016 at the Theater at the Ace Hotel in downtown LA. 3PM. Steve was adored by many friends and fans, me included. I only met him a couple of times and had an enjoyable lunch with him. We planned to do that again, but life got in the way. I would guess that there will be an overflowing to the 1,600 seat space. Doors open at 2:15.
Bill Schallert died at 93. Gorgeous voice actress, Janet Waldo is now 96 and counting. Our friend, Johnny Gunn is a youngster at 90 and voice director, Wally Burr, is recovering from some serious health issues. I can't mention his age!
Life goes on and then, it doesn't. Steve was way too young to die, but I admired the way he and Felicia handled his demise: with dignity.
