Just shared one of Ram Dass's simple posts on Facebook.
Love is the answer.
How we stray from this directive probably has to do with ego and fear.. anger? When those juices get flowing it's tough to overcome them. What to do with that nagging doubt? "Did I leave the tea kettle on the stove with the burner burning?" That feeling. It strikes and even for Ram Dass, he must make sure that he's turned the burner off.
Like the old carpenter's edict: measure twice: cut once... we do the best we can.
It's interesting to me that the 'gorilla' menacing The Shoe Factory that was easily seen in the sunny photos of The Hill is being stretched by the moisture. Wonder if he'll return when the sun shines again?
Arcing and a fire on a transformer up on Mulholland Drive. Trees down. We weather on.
